1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking with Urbania Rent Chandigarh, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all bookings made via phone, WhatsApp, email, or our website. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings require an advance payment to confirm the vehicle. Amount to be communicated at time of booking.
• Full payment must be completed before or on the date of travel, as agreed.
• Bookings are confirmed only upon written confirmation from Urbania Rent Chandigarh.
• We accept UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) and cash. No cheques accepted.

3. Vehicle & Driver

• Urbania Rent Chandigarh acts as a booking facilitator. Vehicles and drivers are provided subject to availability.
• Vehicle images, seating configurations, and amenities shown on the website are indicative only. Actual vehicle may vary slightly.
• We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or higher capacity if the booked vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.
• All drivers are licensed, police-verified and experienced on the relevant routes.
• The driver's decision on road conditions, routes, and stops is final for safety reasons.

4. Fares & Additional Charges

• Quoted fares are for the vehicle, not per person. Rates are per km unless a fixed package is agreed.
• The following are charged extra unless explicitly included in writing: toll charges, parking fees, state permits, inter-state taxes, Rohtang Pass permits, and driver night allowance.
• Waiting charges apply for delays beyond 30 minutes of scheduled pickup.
• Fares may change without prior notice for future bookings. Confirmed bookings are not affected.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers must carry valid government-issued ID proof during travel.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
• Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Urbania Rent Chandigarh is not liable for loss or damage to passenger luggage.
• The number of passengers must not exceed the permitted seating capacity of the vehicle.
• Passengers must follow the driver's instructions regarding safety, seat belts, and vehicle rules.

6. Routes, Timings & Delays

• Estimated travel times are indicative only. Actual times may vary due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or checkposts.
• Urbania Rent Chandigarh is not liable for any losses arising from delays caused by factors beyond our control.
• Route changes may be necessary due to road closures, landslides, or government restrictions. The driver will take the safest available alternative route.

7. Liability

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking. We are not responsible for consequential losses.
• We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from road conditions, natural calamities, or third-party actions.
• All vehicles carry mandatory insurance as per Motor Vehicles Act.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chandigarh, India. By booking with us, you also agree to comply with all applicable provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and related regulations.
